1. Products Application
CNC-control TCT profiling circular saw blades are mainly equipped with CNC sawing machines. It is used both as on-line and off-line cutting for ERW round pipes, square pipes and rectangular pipes. It is suitable for cutting normal ERW and seamless pipes, middle-and-high strength oil pipes, pipelines, boiler pipes. The maximum cutting specifications is 500x500x20mm for square pipes while Φ711x25mm for round pipes.
This products is equipped with professional sawing machine with 2-4pcs cutting at the same time. It cuts through the pipes radially first and then rotates rapidly to cut off the pipes. Compared with traditional cutting methods, it features in fast sawing, energy saving, low noise, safe operation, etc. It could obviously improve the working conditions and cutting performance.
Main sawing machines include Germany SMS, USA AB, Austria LINSINGER, Japan NAKATA, Japan AMADA, China SINCERITY, China SAGE, etc.

2-2 Teeth Profiles
 
There are two kinds of teeth profiles for CNC-control TCT profiling circular saw blades.

2-3 The main diameter is OD250-500mm. You can find the standard specifications as follows:

Note: 1. Specifications mentioned in the above table is standard sizes which is strongly recommended.

3. Products Parameters
3-1 Material: 8CrV or 8CrNi for saw blade while P40 for carbide tips
3-2 Heat Treatment: regular saw body hardness is HRC40-44

4. Technical Requirements
4-1 Requirements on Sawing Machine
4-1-1 Main driving motor: sawing machine should be equipped with main motor with enough power which could offer enough cutting force and milling speed.
4-1-2 Over-all properties: sawing machine should be with certain structure rigidity and mechanical accuracy.
4-1-3 Flange: the side run-out of saw blade flange should be less than 0.015mm while radial run-out should be less than 0.01mm. Flanges should be adjusted onto the same surface and be vertical against the production line.
4-1-4 Cooling system: suitable emulsion cooling system is suggested which could improve the cooling results and cutting performance.
4-1-5 Fixing System: fixing system must be applied with enough strength on both sides during cutting which could make sure of the workpiece stability. Drawing system should be equipped on both sides which could reduce the stuck problem with saw blade.
4-2 Requirements on Workpiece
It can be applied for on-line cutting for ERW pipes or off-line cutting for seamless pipes. And workpiece can be normal carbon steel pipes, medium-high strength oil pipes, lining pipes, boiler pipes, etc.
4-3 Requirement on Cutting Parameters
4-3-1 Normal Cutting Parameters: the peripheral velocity is about 200-400m/min, and the radial feeding speed is about 0.015-0.04mm/rz, and the circumferential feeding speed is about 0.04-0.15mm/rz.
4-3-2 In order to get good cutting results, please apply qualified sawing machine produced by formal producers. Saw blade material and accuracy should be up to the standard. Saw blade specifications like diameter, thickness, teeth number, teeth profile, etc. should be applied based on workpiece material and sizes.
4-3-3 Repair requirement on saw blades: saw blades need to be replaced for repair when the teeth is blunt or the cutting current is increasing or cutting quality is decreased. In order to make sure of the repair quality, replaced saw blades must be inspected and selected and then grinded with special-designed equipment. Repairs usually are process by saw blade producers.
4-4 Notes during Saw Blade Application
4-4-1 Make sure of the machine accuracy, saw blade quality and rotating direction before installation. And then clean the saw blades and its flanges. After that, install it separately onto the machine spindles, and then fix the saw blades by running against rotating direction.
4-4-2 The cutting workpiece must be drawn out in order to prevent saw blade from teeth broken. Workpiece separated by cutting must keep level which could avoid the teeth damages after cutting.
4-4-3 Adjust the cutting parameters in time based on the workpiece in order to get good cutting results.
4-4-4 Steel pipes must be well straightened before cutting. Bending steel pipes could easily damage the saw blades.
4-4-5 Steel pipes must be fully cut through, or it will easily damage the saw blades.
4-4-6 During track cutting, tracking speed must keep the same with steel pipe welding speed, or it will easily damage the saw blades.
4-4-7 Should avoid any damages on saw blades due to abnormal movement of steel pipes during cutting.
